Privacy Policy for Lootwatch

1. Information We Collect
Automatically Collected
- Device Token (FCM): A Firebase Cloud Messaging token is generated on your device to deliver price drop notifications. This token is sent to our server solely to enable notifications for games in your watchlist.
- Analytics Data: Firebase Analytics collects anonymized usage data (screen views, session duration, crash reports) to help us improve the app. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- Advertising ID: Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to serve relevant ads. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
Stored Locally on Your Device
- Watchlist: The list of games you save and your target price alerts are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data is not transmitted to our servers except for the game IDs required to check prices for your watchlist.

3. Third-Party Services
Lootwatch uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/privacy
- Firebase (Google) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- CheapShark API — cheapshark.com — Public game deal data. No personal data is sent to CheapShark.
4. Data Retention
- FCM tokens and watchlist game IDs are retained on our server only as long as necessary to deliver notifications. Removing a game from your watchlist removes it from our server.
- You can delete all server-side data by clearing your watchlist entirely.
5. Children's Privacy
Lootwatch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Your Rights
- Opt out of personalized ads: Go to your device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- Disable notifications: Go to device Settings → Apps → Lootwatch → Notifications.
- Delete your data: Clear your watchlist in the app or uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
